Day Center

Our day program caters to children between the ages of 4-16 years, offering a total of seven classrooms and running from 8.30am-1.30pm. Five classrooms work from the ACE curriculum and two from the AMP curriculum, please click here to find out more about these. Each classroom has one SEN teacher and two teaching assistants with between five-seven students. All staff are trained and receive ongoing training on how to effectively deliver and/or modify curriculum’s for our students. During the day program, students receive both 1:1 OT and SLT as well as group OT, SLT and Art therapy. Outside of set curriculum goals there is a large focus on play, social, and daily living skills. With the goal to provide a holistic therapeutic environment for our students, all staff are trained in Makaton Sign Language, PECS, and Proloquo2go and employ these as necessary for our students. All classrooms also actively practice sensory integration, a necessity for our students. This day program is overseen by our resident BCaBA as well as our BCBA consultants from the NECC.
